The following are instructions for those making an oral presentation.
- All presentation are made using an LCD projector and screen. You are required to bring your own laptop for the presentation.
- The connection to the laptop is HDMI. You are required to bring any necessary adapters.
- The time slot for your presentation is 30 minutes. This includes a 20-25 minute talk, Q&A, and a minute or two to transition to the next presenter.
- You are advised to also put your presentation on a memory device in the event there is a problem with the projection. This way the presentation can be used on another computer.
- It is advised that you test your laptop on the equipment that is in the room where you talk is scheduled. You may go to the room during a break or lunch time to check the equipment.
